Use of cryocompression to reduce chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy in gynecologic cancer

The study’s primary objective is to compare the effect of cryocompression therapy versus
cryotherapy on the incidence and degree of chemotherapy-induced sensory peripheral neuropathy in
patients with gynecologic cancer. The study’s two secondary objectives are to determine if
cryocompression therapy is acceptable and tolerable to patients, and assess nursing staff satisfaction
and resource utilization with use of cryotherapy (+/- compression).
